FAQ
Does converting to JPG lose quality?
JPG is lossy, so some compression is applied. At 85 quality the difference is rarely visible. Lower quality means smaller files but more visible artifacts.
What happens to transparency?
JPG does not support transparency. Transparent pixels are filled with the chosen background color, white by default.
Will my files be uploaded?
No. All conversion runs in your browser using the Canvas API. Your image never leaves your device.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes. 50MB per file. Larger files are rejected because browser memory becomes unreliable beyond that point.
Can I convert several images at once?
Yes. Up to 50 images per session. After conversion you can download each one or all of them as a ZIP.
