FAQ
Why PNG?
PNG keeps transparency and is the safest choice for Word, Excel and PDF. A JPG always has a background, so the white box would come back.
How do I use it in Word?
Insert, then Pictures, and choose the PNG. Set Wrap Text to In Front of Text to move it over a line.
My paper looks grey or yellow.
Raise the tolerance until the background is gone; lower it if strokes start to fade.
Is it safe?
Your signature is never uploaded. It is processed in your browser.
The inside of some letters is still white.
Paper is removed where it connects to the image edge, so the inside of loops such as a, o or e can stay. Open Refine, choose Erase area and click inside the letter.
